# Angular 12 has been released!


As [we could guess](https://blog.angularacademy.ca/angular-12-to-be-released-this-month-may-2021/)… **Angular v12** has been released today, May 12th 2021, 6 months after v11, which is consistent with the expected [release frequency](https://angular.io/guide/releases#release-frequency "angular release frequency").
